A bus and rail interchange forecourt rebuilt as a public square that happens to move eleven thousand people a day.
The problem
Eleven utility owners beneath a two-acre plaza, and a transit operation that could not stop for a single day.
What we did
Subsurface utility engineering to Quality Level B across the whole footprint, then a five-stage construction sequence that kept at least two bus bays and both platform entrances open at all times.
Outcome
Delivered without a service suspension. Pedestrian conflict points at the curb reduced from fourteen to three.
